Baked Pimento Cheese

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! My most favorite part about this day is of course the social party but also the food. That’s what it’s really all about, right?! This hot and bubbly baked pimento cheese is sure to be a WIN at any party you attend. Go team FOOD!


Baked Pimento Cheese

1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese, softened

1 cup mayo

1 (8 ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 (8 ounce) package of Hot Haberno cheese, grated

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

1 (12 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained

2 (4 ounce) jars diced pimentos, drained

Salt and pepper

Dash of Tabasco sauce

Preheat oven to 425. Spray an 8×8 baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayo, cheddar cheese, hot haberno cheese, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Roughly chop red peppers and the pimento, pat dry, and add to the cheese mixture. Sprinkle in enough salt, pepper and couple of dashs of tabasco sauce to your liking. Combine all together.

Spoon into your prepared dish and bake until it is 15-20 minutes. Until it is bubbling and lightly browned. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve with carrot and celery sticks and tortilla chips

Notes: That Hot Haberno cheese is a Kraft cheese product. Don’t skip the step about pat drying those peppers and pimento. They contain a lot of water sitting in their jars.
