Over the holidays my family tried to do some organization and small room projects around our house. Right after Christmas my boys decided to no longer share a room. So my youngest got his own room by converting our old lego room into his NEW room. Therefore we have been doing a little shopping and I saw some cute stuff along the way that I wanted to share with you all. Here were some cute finds I discovered on my search…
Hob Knob Solid Wood Wall Pegs from The Container Store to hang hats, medals or lightweight items like keys, jackets, or umbrellas that weigh less than 5lbs for only $19.99.
Pottery Barn Teen had some great pillows that would update any child’s room. Prices started at $9.99 including some sale pillows and the prices went up to $135. The pics below show different price ranged pillows. I loved the needlepoint football pillows so I posted the Alabama and Clemson specially for the National Championship coming up on Monday night! Great gift for a room, future signee at any of these schools, or graduation gift. Warning- I love pillows so I had a hard time narrowing it down.
Pottery Barn Kids also had some cute sheets as always starting at $49 for a super soft set.
I went to Target too for my weekly fix. Amy Garges mentioned how she loved Target also for herself or clients for budget friendly items. I loved this Circle Shelf for $29.99 for cute items in any room plus it will help with organization and storage.
There was also a small wire crate at Target for $12.74 that would be cute on a dresser or on shelves holding coloring books or other books.
Okay so outside my son’s room I mentioned we worked in other areas of our home. We had done a little organizing in the pantry- inspired by Amy Garges pictures. I must say it literally became a mess real quick in the pantry when I dropped steel cut oats from the top shelf all the way to the floor. I wanted to call it quits about that moment. Ha!
We moved into our home about a year and half ago and are doing rooms one by one slowly so we don’t go overboard with costs. Plus, I like to find bigger expensive items that I really love when I invest in them. Accessories for rooms though I like to mix it up so I buy those and move them around and give new life to it in each room.
At Target there was also a scale for $79.99 which would be a great piece in a kitchen holding some items like lemons or limes (fake or real) sitting on top of some old cookbooks. Another idea would be in an office/living room with some moss balls or even small topiaries on it.
Walmart Food Storage items were priced really well. The one I have tagged was a Rubbermaid brand at $15.97 for a set of 8. I love using these for pretzels, cereals, pasta and other items to keep them fresh.
Minted Foil Art is so cute and will spice up any wall! I especially love the state art and city map art. Shown below: Texas, Nashville city map, and North Carolina. You can purchase just the art or art with a frame so prices can vary. A friend of mine did a set of these in all the states she has lived (California, Tennessee, and Massachusetts). What a great gift these would make too!
Last cute find to mention… I never decorate for Valentine’s Day but I saw this cutie on Pottery Barn Kids and loved it so I wanted to share.
